My story

--FOSTER PUPDATE--Anago A17419970 lb. neutered male, approx 3 years old -I am going by "Hank" in my foster home.- I am a very sweet, affectionate boy. I’m big and sturdy, but that doesn’t stop mefrom wanting to snuggle or sit right next to you. I love attention and enjoy pets, scratches, and tummy rubs!- I am quiet. I never whine and only rarely bark. I do make cute snoring noises whenI sleep, though. I like sleeping on carpets, rugs, and dog beds.- I am housetrained! When I go on a walk to “do my business”, I walk slowly andcalmly on a loose leash. I walk “to heel”, so I’ve had some training. While I like to stopand notice things, I don’t pull on my lead or bark at people or animals that I see.- I am also “house” trained: I don’t climb on furniture or jump up to counters. And, Iknow some basic commands like “Sit” and “No.”- When left alone, I don’t cause trouble. When you come back, you’ll probably justfind me waiting for you by the door you left through.- I am a good passenger in a car. I like to go for rides, and will sit calmly while we gosomewhere.- I am very patient about food. While I enjoy eating, you won’t hear me begging orsee me getting too excited. I will wait until you put my bowl down. If you need to giveme medicine, you can put it in some peanut butter, and I will gently take it right fromyour hand.- Since fostering, I have been slowly introduced to neighborhood dogs and humans, and I have behaved very well. I even went for a walk on a park trail with another dogand had no troubles at all!- Did I mention I am sweet and affectionate? I really am! I love people and wigglewith excitement when I get attention. If you’re not in a snuggly mood, then I would justlike to snooze somewhere nearby until you’re ready to pet me again! This pet is in a foster home! If you are interested in meeting Anago please email foster@friendsofdacc.org with subject line “Anago A174199"Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adoptThere is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, and $40 for cats payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.
