My story

Onyx is a lively, alert young dog who`s still figuring things out—and doing a pretty good job of it! He did well with other dogs in playgroup and was neutral around people, taking in the world with curious energy. We’re still getting to know him, but so far, he seems like a fun, active pup with plenty of potential. If you`re looking for a dog who`s ready to learn and grow, Onyx might be the one to watch.All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in to adopt! Our adoption fees are some of the lowest in Cincinnati.To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelter any day between 1–6 p.m. If the pet’s location is listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. If you’re adopting an adult dog and have dogs or kids at home, bring them along to ensure it’s a love match.About Us: Cincinnati Animal CARE serves as Hamilton County`s humane society, providing dog warden and animal control services. We help keep people and pets together and match homeless animals with new families.
