My story

Text or email only located in Palmdale approved for same-day adoption (661)609-2186 memeco635@gmail.com Hello everyone, my name is Mahali and I am a bait dog survivor from Northern California. I was tortured and abused, and although my rescuer didn’t have space she took me in knowing I was very sick and weak, I suffered more so from physical injuries, I had a wire embedded in my neck and it took a couple of vet visits to get the wire safely removed out of my neck. It has been a slow and long healing journey. I never lost my spark or my love of people and life, but for the longest time leashes made me nervous. I acclimated to rescue life pretty easily. There were plenty of friends for me to get along with lots of toys and a lot of people coming to visit to socialize me. I’m great with babies. I love kids of all ages. I adore other dogs and I like cats as long as they’re friendly I would make a great companion for any family dynamic. My neck is almost completely healed so I’m just waiting for that special family to fall in love with me and take me home. I am approved for same-day adoption so if you come and meet me and I swoon you with my puppy dog eyes, you can take me home same day. please contact my rescuer with her contact info above my story to schedule a time to meet with me I will be eagerly waiting for a forever home of my own, where I will never have to endure abuse again I have so much love to give!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mahali, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
