Joplin

My story

Joplin was part of an unplanned litter. Her owners kept them as long as they could while looking for homes, but as the puppies grew it became overwhelming. The owner says they are all sweet dogs and it`s hard to give them up. She is still a puppy, with all the fun and training time that will bring. At the shelter, Joplin is overwhelmed and scared of this noisy environment. We hope this sweet puppy can get back into a (forever) home soon!Joplin has been scared in dog play groups as well. Come meet her at our Zona Rosa location. When you fall in love, plan a time for your dogs to meet her in a staff-led introduction. Joplin was able to go on a Dog Day Out recently and here is what they had to say, `I took Joplin out for a nice long walk, and he did amazingly well—especially for a 7-month-old pup! He can be a little cautious at first with new experiences, but he warms up quickly and gains confidence fast. After our walk, we headed home to relax, and Joplin wasted no time curling up on the couch with me for a cozy nap. He’s the perfect mix of playful and snuggly—fun-loving one moment and totally content to chill the next. Joplin really is the whole package: sweet, affectionate, and playful. He’s going to make a fantastic companion for someone ready to love him through his puppy stage and beyond!`Joplin is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines.
