Meet Hank – Your Smart, Loyal Adventure Buddy 🐾 Hank is a sharp, sweet, and eager-to-please pup looking for a forever home that can match his energy and intelligence. He’s extremely food-motivated, which makes training a breeze—and lucky for his future family, he’s already ahead of the game! Hank has received professional training and knows an impressive list of commands: Sit Down Heel – walks politely at your side, keeping his shoulder in line with your pant seam Place – goes to a designated spot (like a cot or bed) and stays there until released Free – his all-purpose release command (used when eating, on leash, exiting doors/crate, or interacting with others) Crate – enters and relaxes without fuss Stay Recall – comes promptly when you say his name + "here" (only once!) Though Hank can be initially nervous with new people or children, he bounces back quickly—especially when people around him are calm and confident. He’s not been tested around cats or young children, but he’s shown zero aggression toward other dogs, even intact males. Because Hank has a natural herding instinct, a home with no small children is best. He may try to herd them with gentle ankle nips. Older kids (8+) in an active household would be ideal for this smart, energetic boy.
