My story

Maisy found herself at rural NC county shelter where a volunteer & foster met her and knew she wanted to help. She’s estimated to be around 6 months old and around 30 pounds. We don’t think she’ll grow too much more putting her at a comfortable medium size when fully grown. Your guess is as good as ours of what her breed mix might be. Maisy is very affectionate and loves people. She also loves playing with other dogs and takes direction if her exuberance is too much. She is great in public and has been a frequent visitor at dog friendly stores where she’s made lots of friends. Though Maisy is a puppy she is not mouthy, walks great on a leash, and is already housebroken and crate trained. Maisy’s foster family has set her up for success and has her enrolled in a 6 week basic obedience class as well as invested in private lessons to ensure she’s a well rounded girl with a great foundation for when she finds her forever home. She is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, kept on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and is scheduled to be spayed & microchipped very soon! Maisy’s adoption fee is $300 which includes remaining vaccinations, microchip, and spay. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and fill out an application. www.thefosterdoghouse.org

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Maisy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
