My story

Princess Starlight is a 3-year-old pittie mix with a touch of herding breed in her. Border collie? Cattle dog? Either way, she`s pretty perfect! Princess Starlight LOVES toys and loves her people. While she started off a bit shy and unsure, she’s quickly blossomed into a volunteer favorite and is learning just how good life can be. She’s been on multiple field trips and is currently soaking up the sunshine at a softball game! This unique girl also has an unusual, large scar on her lower back. And while we aren`t sure what caused it, we do know that it`s behind her now, and there are only good things ahead from here on out.Her ideal home? Probably one without little kids, since she can be shy at first. As for other dogs, her playgroup notes mention `herding,` `herding,` and more herding. *pretends to be shocked.* Given her herding behavior in playgroups, cats are likely not a great fit but we don`t know for sure. She`s high energy with her canine friends and sometimes gets a little too rowdy, so she’d do best with a tolerant, playful dog who can match her style or with someone committed to giving her good outlets for her energy. Watch her in action here: https://bit.ly/princess-starlight-macc-playgroupsPrincess Starlight would love to meet you!
