Meet Papi! Looking for a pup who’s equal parts playful and affectionate? Say hello to Papi! This 1.5–2-year-old, 20 lb. mystery mix (maybe a little Chihuahua, maybe a little Cattle Dog, maybe a little of everything!) is ready to find his forever home after being found as a stray down in Alabama. Now in Massachusetts, Papi is working hard on house training, crate training, and leash walking – and he’s picking it up quickly! He’s a toy connoisseur who loves digging through the toy box and entertaining himself, though he’d much rather be doing it near his favorite person. He’s still learning to keep all four paws on the floor (hello, jumping bean!), but with some gentle guidance, he’s well on his way.Papi could do well in a home with kids 10+, dog-savvy cats, and/or young playful dogs. He’s a total lovebug who craves companionship, especially when it comes to couch snuggles and shadowing his people around the house. No apartments please (due to barking).If you’re looking for a small, sweet pup with a big personality and even bigger heart, Papi is ready to make your house a home.His foster says, `Papi is very loving and affectionate! He loves to run and play outside and inside. He wants to please and loves to be the center of attention! He is crate trained but does not like the crate. He will bark and carry on but eventually settles down. He is almost potty trained and has very few accidents. He walks well on a leash! He loves getting the toys out from the toy box and playing with them. He is still learning to keep 4 paws on the floor. He is a jumper but learning. He loves to be wherever you are and loves to snuggle on the couch. He is a very sweet boy and will make a great addition to a family!`He is available for adoption by appointment in Hopkinton, MA.
