My story
My name is Snappea and I have been througha lot! I came to the shelter with a severe lip injury that required repair from a specialist surgeon and to have several of my teeth extracted. I am recovering nicely from this surgery. Also, like many dogs in NC, I am currently heartworm positive. OCAS will be helping by beginning my treatment but you`ll need to follow up with your veterinarian! During treatment I will be on an oral medication and will need to get a topical solution monthly until I have a Negative Heartworm Test. If you have any questions about this please ask to speak with a member of the medical staff.
