My story

This beauty is Stella! She ended up at the shelter as a lost girl on 5/5, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. This girl can be summed up in one word: AWESOME! The volunteers adore her! Stella has the sweetest soul, and is very well-behaved. She knows several commands including sit, down, and stay. She is also very treat-motivated and will work for them. Please don't overlook Stella because of her cherry eyes. This is a common condition and can be remedied with a fairly simple surgical procedure. Please consult with your veterinarian. Stella is approximately 1 year old and weighs 54 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Stella in run 877, you won't regret it! Her ID # is 9830. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
