My story

7/1/2025 I’m a new pup. After being discarded and found loose on the street in South Atlanta I found my way to Act2Pups. At first they thought I was a senior pup. Turns out Im really young and a head turner! I’m not sure if it was just my awful hair, or lack thereof. The hair I did have was horribly matted and when I walked it pulled my skin. Fast forward to June…I’m ready for a home that will continue giving me lots of structure. I’m a big time cuddle bug that only wants to please. It will be easy to keep me being the best pup because I love attention and words of praise. I can be stubborn, that’s the terrier in me, but if you stay the leader, I will be a great pup. My dream home is one with another pup, preferably a bigger balanced confident dog, a fenced yard so I can run with my four legged friend, and walks. I’m ready and I hope you’re ready for the best pet you’ve ever had!. 6/8/2025 In less then a month I've calmed down. I'm walking on a leash much better. Compared to previous on a scale of 1-10, I was a -5 and now I'm a +7. I'm a smart young man and is still active. I like to cuddle and I'm becoming obedient more and more everyday. My foster mom says she's amazed at what a great pup I'm becoming. 5/15/2025 Yes I'm a youngin....When the shelter down south asked to rescue me they first said I was an old girl, then an old boy, and then boy oh boy where they wrong about my age. I was in deplorable shape when I was found running down the road. I wasn't very friendly, but that was a cover for my fear. I had to be sedated to be shaved down and the vets office said Eureka I'm a Chinese Crested (CC). No one believes it that see's my photo, but I definitely have CC in me. I could have Yorkie in me or a lot of other breeds. I could be as young as 4 or 5 and I definitely am super active. If I could run around in a fenced yard until my little tongue hung out I know I would calm down. My foster mom gives me a couple of walks a day, but I would love to jog along with someone. I need some manners when it comes to meeting new dogs. I want to sniff, sniff, sniff and that turns my housemates off. I'm getting better though. I would love someone that will show patience. I know I can be a well behaved pup in time. Anyone want a project??

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Corey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
