My story

Rocky is a fluffy, young adult tabby cat who needs a patient home! Rocky can be a little spicy initially and needs to time to become comfortable with new people and his surroundings. Go slow and let Rocky come to you! It is worth the wait to gain this sweet boy’s trust. Rocky was transferred to the shelter from one of our rescue partners. At his previous rescue, Rocky tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). Cats with FIV can live long happy lives with a little extra care! This virus can affect the immune system and recommended for adopters to pursue veterinary care as needed. Rocky would do well as a solo cat or with another FIV+ cat, following a proper introduction of course. Come meet Rocky and give him a chance to become your loyal and loving cat, today! If you`d like to meet our available pets, please check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
