Misty

My story

Misty is a lovely dilute calico with a soft, pastel coat to match her gentle nature. We transferred her in from one of our wonderful rescue partners, where she found herself after her beloved owner passed away. Misty was clearly well-loved—she settled into her foster home with ease and welcomed affection from the start. Friendly and sweet, she enjoys gentle pets and the comfort of a cozy space. Misty was adopted to a home, but ended up back at our shelter when her new family could no longer care for her. After she was returned, we found that she was underweight (4.4 pounds) and had some health concerns. She saw our vet, and we are doing our best to get her back to good health. She is still undergoing treatment, and while we hope she fully recovers, there is a possibility she could have a more serious underlying health issue. It is our hope that Misty can find a nurturing home that will help her continue her road to recovery. And if she does have a more serious condition, Misty just wants a family to give her love and care for whatever time she has left. Then, come in during our open hours!
