My story

Meet Madness! This handsome 7-month-old, 46 lb hound mix is anything but chaotic—he’s calm, affectionate, and full of heart. With his striking white-and-brindle coat and soulful eyes, Madness is the kind of dog who turns heads on the street and wins hearts at home. After spending his early months growing up at our sister shelter in Tennessee, he's now ready to find the loving family he deserves. Madness is as sweet and well-mannered as they come. He’s great with dogs, kids, cats—even horses! He’s crate trained, house trained, and puppy pad trained, and while he had a little pulling at first, he’s doing well on leash (especially with a harness). A social butterfly, Madness loves cuddling, playing with toys, soaking up attention, and just being near his people. He’s gentle, affectionate, and eager to please. He knows “sit” and picks up on routines quickly. He does have a little separation anxiety, which is totally normal for his age, but he’s otherwise an absolute dream—no barking, no shedding, and no bad habits. This boy is truly one of the good ones: playful, easygoing, and ready for a life filled with adventure, belly rubs, and love. Ready to fall for Madness?
