My story

Give a warm welcome to Abalone Shell, or Abby for short, a 10-year old, 9-pound Chihuahua mix who is just the cutest, most darling ‘lil old lady everrrrr! Abby adores absolutely everyone! Yup, even total strangers out on the street. She’s friendly and personable with women, men, old folks, young folks, and other dogs too! Abby allows all manner of handling, including touching her paws, picking her up, or putting your hands near her food bowl. She actually welcomes any and all attention and yearns to be with her humans as much as possible. Housebroken and a lover of nature, Abby enjoys going outside for walks and is working on perfecting her leash skills. She’s okay in her crate but prefers if you leave the door open. Hey, the lady likes to have options! Abby is a mature gal, but she’s still got plenty of pep in her step. She’s a terrific combination of playful and chill, and she gets bonus points for being sweet, affectionate, cuddly, and too adorable for words!
