My story

Our hearts hurt for Peluchi. He was lost and scared when spotted. His owner was found but they did not want him back. He arrived to the shelter on 5/12. Peluchi is 9 years young and weighs in at 18 pounds. He is missing one eye and has very little vision in the other. He sure could use a do over with a spa day and a loving family. Does your heart hurt for Peluchi? Would you open your home to him? Ask for ID# 9948 Run 309. He will not be neutered at the shelter due to his age. He will be micro-chipped upon adoption. He has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
