My story

f those eyes don’t lure you in, I don’t know what will?! Fox is a very attractive reddish 6 month old 43 lb retriever lab mix that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 5/13 as a stray. He is all puppy! He’s jubilant, friendly, playful, loving, alert, and even bouncy. He would be a good dog for a family to start off with. He does sit for treats and takes them gently. He found a ball and played with it. He does jump on you when he gets excited. He needs to learn not to do this. Also on a leash he gets you all tangled because he’s so exuberant. He needs some leash training. He didn’t appear to have a problem with other dogs. And he’s generous with his kisses! He should do really well with an active family. He should live in a home not an apartment due to his activity level. He ought to do well with children. He would need a yard to play in but then would want to come in for snuggles and a little TV.
