My story

Ruppert may be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you – underneath his calm demeanor is a super affectionate and sweet boy just waiting to find his forever family! At 7 years old, Ruppert has had a rough start in life, coming from horrible living conditions before being rescued. Life in the shelter has been stressful for him, and he spends most of his days snuggled under a blanket to feel safe. But in a calm, loving environment, Ruppert will truly thrive.Despite his rough past, Ruppert is a gentle soul who adores head rubs and gentle affection. He’s the kind of cat who will purr contentedly as soon as you show him some love. He`s great with kids aged 8 and up and would be an ideal companion for a family who is patient and understanding while he settles in.Ruppert has lived with other cats before, so he might do well in a home with a feline friend, though his response to dogs is still unknown.If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate cat who just needs a little time to trust, Ruppert could be the perfect fit for your family.
