Helloooo! My name is Evie (Bella in Mexico) and you can learn more about me here: PHYSICAL INFO: Breed: Fox Terrier mix Age: 2 years 8 months approx. Gender: Female Weight: 22lbs (10kg) Height: 45cm (paws to top of my head) Length: 45cm (head to butt) Current Location: Mexico City, Mexico RESCUE STORY - I was rescued while dodging cars (barely!) in the middle of a busy street outide of Mexico City. As soon as my rescue hooman had me in her arms, it became obvious that I was previously owned (and very loving of people!) and had likely been abandoned like so many others. Now that I'm safe at the shelter, I'm hoping to level up and find a furever home and family of my own - one that will never, ever abandon me! TEMPERAMENT - I am described as being a very gentle, sweet and loving pup who looooves to play with my doggy friends (and there are many of them at the shelter!). I can be a bit nervous/uncomfortable around bigger pups so I need to be properly introduced to them before I can start feeling safe and secure enough to begin playing. I also really enjoy playing with toys and the one thing that I love most of all is being cuddled! Because I enjoy playing so much, I would do well in a family that is relatively active and willing to keep me stimulated :) ENERGY LEVEL - Medium GETS ALONG WITH: Kids – Unknown (but can be tested upon request) Dogs – I get along well with other pups and currently live with many other doggos! Cats – Unknown PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I’m not too sure how I’ll react around squirrels/rabbits etc. My adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise. TRAINING: Leash skills – I do okay with my leash skills as you can see here, however I may need some additional patience and training. A double leash (with a secure harness) is recommended when I go for walks as I can get nervous in new environments and may be a flight risk. House trained – My rescuer says I am okay with this but I may need some additional training and patience. Crate trained – My rescuer says I am not so familiar with this and I may need some additional training and patience. Car rides – My rescuer says I am not so familiar with this and I may need some additional training and patience. Please Note: WCP highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives. HEALTH NOTES: I am spayed and vaccinated. NOTE: It is not uncommon for rescue dogs to require dental work/cleaning after they are adopted. West Coast Paws does not cover the costs of dental work and/or vet visits. These costs are the financial responsibility of the adopter. ADOPTION FEE: My adoption fee is $840.00 CAD including tax (5% GST, 7% PST), which includes my airfare, if a flight volunteer is found directly to Vancouver. ------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER: Please visit wcpdogrescue.com to read about West Coast Paws Dog Rescue and it's adoption process. The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live. WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates. ##2376135##
