Struffoli

My story

Hi there, my name is Struffoli... but you can call me Struffy! I am a bit of a shy boy who is looking for a patient and quiet family to teach me about love again. You see, I came from a really sad situation and I am working hard on remembering that people aren't scary. I am making huge strides everyday and like any good dog named after an Italian dessert, the way to my heart is FOOD. Sit with me for awhile, talk gently to me and toss me some treats... and soon I will be eating out of your hands, coming close to you so you can scratch my nose, and then brush my beautiful coat. You know what helps me feel even more confident? Dog pals, and I would do best with at least one in my new home! I also am gentle and get along fine with quiet, older kids. Australian Shepherds were bred to work beside humans and we bond hard to our special people... I am ready to give that love and loyalty to someone if you'll give me a chance and we can take it slow!
