My story

Buzz. Apx 3 years old and 9.8 pounds. We are looking for an experienced adopter. Buzz is a really sweet boy but bad at first impressions. He has a gorgeous brindle coat and once he gets to know you, he is an extremely loving dog that gets very attached to his people. He was an owner surrender, and all he ever knew was the house he was in since he was born. So Buzz is very scared of all these new people and new places. He is never aggressive and never bites. he will growl and bark at strangers and dart around, he will run away from people he does not know. So he will need to stay on a leash and harness even inside of the house for a few days until he gets used to you. A VERY SECURED backyard is a must for him . He is a gentle boy. He is just afraid and lacks confidence and socialization. Great with cats and dogs, no small children please. He will need to use a belly band for the first week or two while he learns his good indoor potty manners. It was a rough couple days when Buzz first got here, he needs time to decompress, but after about a week he was just a happy typically lap baby. He needs some work but he is so loving once he bonds with you, he is worth the effort. Approved adopters please send your hold requests to the email you were given. To get approved please visit our website www.texaschihuahuarescuecanada.org to fill in an application to adopt.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Buzz, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
