My story

Meet Sunshine! Sunshine is a 7-year-old Chihuahua with a heart as warm as her name. She absolutely loves people and is happiest when she’s snuggled up in a blanket or nestled into your lap for some quality time. She enjoys belly rubs, being carried in a sling, and curling up beside her favorite human. ​ Sunshine is a calm and well-mannered pup who rarely barks and takes direction well. She is fully potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and plays gently with toys on her own or with a human friend. While she’s not particularly interested in other dogs, she gets along just fine with them. She really shines when she’s with cats and likes to play sweetly with her feline friends. ​ She does have a heart condition and asthma, but both are well managed with daily medication and an inhaler that she takes easily. Sunshine’s foster describes her as incredibly sweet, gentle, and easy to care for. She would thrive in a loving home where she can enjoy cuddles, companionship, and the comfort of a cozy spot to relax. ​ Sunshine is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and spayed.
