My story

All About Me Name: Sooah Age: 1.5  years old Gender: Female Spayed: Yes Breed: Jindo Mix Color: White Weight: 15kg / 33lbs   My Health I’ve completed my 5-round vaccination series, with boosters scheduled soon. I tested heartworm negative in September 2024—yay! I’ve been spayed and have no known health issues.   My Personality Hello, I’m Sooah!I’m a soft-spoken soul with a gentle spirit and curious eyes. I may not be the first one to run up and ask for pets, but that doesn’t mean I’m not watching you with interest. In fact, I do want to be close it just takes me a little time to feel safe. Once I do, I can even let you scoop me up for a cuddle! When I first arrived at my foster home, I stayed tucked inside my kennel for nearly a month. But I was watching… learning… and little by little, I began to come out and explore. These days, I’ll peek around corners, quietly follow you from room to room, and even accept treats from your hand. If you’re patient and kind, I will absolutely bloom.   Social Skills With People: I’m curious and sweet. I tend to feel more at ease with women, but with time and consistency, I can grow to trust men too. I haven’t met any young kids yet, so a calm adult home may suit me best for now. With Other Dogs: I get along well with smaller dogs and am polite around new friends. I may not initiate play, but I enjoy calm company and know how to walk away from conflict. With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, but with slow introduction I think I can be a good housemate with them!   Energy and Activities I’m learning! I really enjoy quiet streets and nature paths, but loud cars and busy roads still make me freeze or crouch down. With encouragement and a gentle approach, I know I’ll gain confidence step by step. A secure harness and calm environment help me feel safe.   Life at Home I’m a peaceful housemate. I rarely bark, I’m calm in the kennel during travel, and I prefer doing my business outdoors. I don’t guard food from people, but I prefer to eat without other dogs getting too close that feels more comfortable for me. I’ll do best in a calm and structured home where I can keep learning at my own pace. With a loving guide by my side, I know I can thrive.   My Ideal Home I’m looking for a family that sees not just who I am today, but who I can become with love and time. If you’ve got a patient heart, gentle hands, and a quiet home, I may be the perfect companion for you. Here's what would make me feel safe and loved: A calm environment with gentle voices and slow movements. A fenced yard or secure leash-walking setup—I need time and space to feel confident. Someone who understands that progress may be slow but steady, and that trust, once earned, is forever. I may be shy, but I’m also full of potential. And if you give me the chance, I’ll give you a love that runs deep and true.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Sooah's YouTube Playlist ##2397285##
