My story

Harley is a kind and expressive black and white Lab mix with a personality as striking as her markings. Known for her gentle soul and big heart, she’s the type of dog who immediately puts people at ease. Harley is deeply affectionate and thrives on being close to her humans, always ready to offer quiet companionship or a friendly nudge. Her calm demeanor makes her a wonderful presence in any home, bringing a steady, loving energy wherever she goes.But Harley also knows how to speak her mind—she’s delightfully vocal and isn’t shy about letting you know when she’s excited, wants attention, or just feels like chiming in. Whether it’s a playful bark or a soft “talking” growl, her voice is part of her charm. Loyal and intuitive, Harley forms strong bonds with her people and isn’t afraid to stand up as both protector and best friend. She’s not just a pet; she’s a true family member with a heart full of kindness and a voice full of character.ADOPTION PACKAGEThank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each dog adoption fee of $175 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:· Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.· A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver`s license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.· Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)· Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.· The Haven accepts cash, check, debit/credit cards, or money orders.* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
