My story

This adorable puppy is Brix! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 5/6. His family must have learned he was at the shelter and decided to surrender him because we have notes that he is house-trained and dog friendly. The volunteers describe Brix as everything a puppy should be: fun-loving, eager to please, playful, and friendly. His coat is so beautiful and he has such unique eyes. Brix knows how to sit nicely for treats and he's been quiet in his kennel since his arrival. Puppies are so cute and fun, but they're also a lot of work. Please ensure you have the time, energy, and patience to welcome Brix into your heart and home before adopting. Brix is 6 months old and weighs 33 lbs. He will most likely be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. Brix is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Brix is waiting patiently in kennel 302; his ID # is 9827. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
