My story

Introducing Kash! She was brought to the shelter on 4/10 because she was on a journey to find her way home. Kash is only a year old and weighs a mere 50lbs. The volunteers describe her as very sweet, cute, and obedient, and timid. That's understandable because she is in a scary place but volunteers are spending time with her to help her become more confident each day. Once she is outside, she quickly opens up. She is so quiet in her kennel you would never know she was there. She is also a smart cookie as she knows sit when asked and she may know more. Please take some time and visit with her in Run 22; her ID is 9293. She is waiting for you! Please help her find her way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Kash is current on vaccines, will be spayed and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. Kash is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
