My story

Heidi6 yearsFemale, spayed24 lbs Terrier Heidi is a great little scruffy package!  -Dog friendly -Kid friendly -Housetrained -Good in crate  She is just a happy little gal. Smart, spunky, active. Loves people, all curious energy and tail wags.   She loves to be outside and just tear around to expend her energy and joy (she does it all with a big smile on her face!). Once she's done, she'll curl up on her dog bed or hop up on the couch for some pets.  Heidi is in foster care with kids, cats, and a dog. She does think that cats are prey, so she is looking for a furever home with no cats. She likes toys that squeak or that she can chase!  She has had 0 toilet accidents in foster care. She needs some work on her leash skills- she does not mind the leash but is a zig-zagger with all the interesting smells. We have not found anything she is afraid of yet! She sleeps well at night in a crate in her foster's bedroom. During the day, she will whine at the very beginning of crate time but then settle down. She can also be left in the house uncrated- she has not shown any destructive tendencies and has pretty good house manners.
