My story

Name: PhilAge/DOB: 8 monthsWeight: approx 40 lbsGender: MaleBreed: Lab/retriever mix Phil’s name should be shadow because he just wants to be near and  loved by his humans. Or maybe Dr. Phil because he offers some serious doggy therapy. He’s good in his crate all night and during the day, but he’d rather be snuggling on the couch. He’d be great for someone that works from home because he’s very chill and doesn’t bark much at all. He’s working on leash training, but the leash is basically a prop at this point because he won’t leave your side, and I mean he sticks to you like Velcro! He’s great with the other dogs and kids in his foster home but a slow introduction because he’s very timid at first. Once he decompresses he’s a happy-go-lucky guy. He’s even started to love playing some fetch. He appears to be submissive when it comes to other dogs but loves to play with them once he starts to feel at home. He is potty trained and has not had ONE SINGLE accident in the house! If you are looking for a chill snuggle bug that can just plug right into any home, Phil is your guy! With Phil around you will never be lonely again. Foster’s favorite thing about Phil: He makes you fell like you are the most important thing in the entire universe! If you are interested in Phil, please apply at the adoption link in the comments below or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved. ##2379679##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Phil, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
