My story

Winston’s CompatibilityDogs: Meet and greetCats: Passed his cat test!Kids: Yes, 14 and upWinston is sweet, goofy, and powered almost entirely by joy. This young guy has a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves going on sniffaris, which are basically walks where his nose gets to do the leading. He’ll happily dig through cardboard boxes to find hidden treats and gets the zoomies every time you bring out the flirt pole toy. His favorite thing in the whole world is his jolly ball. He carries it around like it’s made of gold and looks so proud doing it, you can’t help but smile.Winston is still learning how to handle his excitement, especially when something fun is happening. He’s made a lot of progress, thanks to a week of training at Paws and Play, where he worked on staying calm and focusing better. His new family will get a free exit lesson with his trainer, and we’ll make sure you have everything you need to help him keep growing. He would do best in a home with adults or older teens who can stick to a routine, use positive training, and give him the structure he needs. He passed his cat test and may enjoy having a dog buddy if the match is right. Winston may still be figuring some things out, but he’s playful, affectionate, and full of potential. If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh, keep you active, and love you with his whole wiggly body, come meet Winston. He’s one of a kind!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Winston, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
