My story

Meet Patron! Patron is a darling little Chihuahua mix, approximately one-year-old and weighing just 6.8 pounds. Patron came to Chi Town from a rescue that we are affiliated with in Mexico. That rescue reached out recently for some help, due to overcrowding and shelter maintenance issues. We agreed to take in some adoptable dogs to help out, and will be donating half of the adoption fees back to the rescue in Mexico to assist with their shelter bills. Patron originally came in to the Mexico rescue as a stray, and has been with them for approximately six-months. Patron is the perfect combo of sweet and shy. He will hang back a bit when meeting new people and has a tendency to flirt with you, then dart just out of reach. We are sure over time, Patron will stop darting away and fully accept the pets he so clearly wants! Patron is a happy boy full of tail wags and zoomies. He has a lot of silly energy and loves to run and play. Toys, play pool splashes, and chasing his dog friends around the yard are just a few of his favorite pastimes.
