My story

Meet Buttercup! At 4.7 years old and a perfect 40 pounds, Buttercup is the ultimate sweetheart with a heart full of love and a belly always ready for rubs! The very first thing she’ll do when she meets you is flop over and ask for a belly rub — it’s her signature move. Buttercup is the definition of affectionate. She’ll gently hold your hand with her paw, offer the softest kisses, and soak up every bit of attention you’re willing to give. She’s also fully housetrained and knows how to make herself right at home — usually snuggled into a cozy pile of pillows. A true cuddle bug, Buttercup is happiest when she’s by your side (or better yet, in your lap!). She’s great with kids and would love a family who shares her love of snuggles and companionship. Just one thing: no cats, please — Buttercup prefers to be your one and only animal friend. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving shadow with a wagging tail and a whole lot of heart, Buttercup is ready to steal yours. Stop in and meet my cute self in person during our adoption hours. Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
