My story

Hi, I’m Ophelia, a quiet and gentle low-rider looking for my forever home. I’m shy around people, but with patience and love, I slowly open up—and once I do, I’m a sweet companion.I love spending time outside, especially when my people and dog friends are with me. Exploring the yard is one of my favorite things, and I’ve recently started to enjoy playing with the other pups in my foster home.Sometimes I'm just a little awkward, so I just run near the other pups until I can figure out how to join the fun. But I'm learning that this is the good life!I’d do best in a calm, quiet home with a fenced yard where I can feel safe. I can be nervous around sudden noises or movements and prefer to retreat when overwhelmed. A confident dog buddy would help me continue building courage, and I do best with adults and calm older kids.I sleep soundly in my crate, know to do my business outside, and I’m as quiet as can be!If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion and are willing to go at my pace as I learn to feel safe as I learn to trust, I’d love to be by your side.Love, Ophelia--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
