My story

Meet Ambrose – A Big-Hearted, Blue Pittie Looking for His Forever Home! Ambrose is a stunning extra-large blue Pit Bull mix with a fun-loving personality and an even bigger heart. At around 6-7 years old, he’s packed with energy and always ready for a game of fetch, a yard zoom, or a long walk. Car rides, tough toys, and outdoor adventures are some of his favorite things—but after a good play session, he’s also a world-class snuggler. Ambrose is cat-friendly and does well with some large dogs but is not a good match for small dogs. He'd thrive in a home with another large dog or as your one-and-only. Crate-trained and housebroken, he does best with regular structure and exercise to help keep boredom at bay. This sweet boy is incredibly affectionate and loves to be near his people—expect lots of big kisses and full-body cuddles. While vet visits and nail trims can cause anxiety, he's making progress with the right support and understanding. He may need extra time warming up to older men but builds trust with patience and kindness. Ambrose was originally rescued as a stray and adopted, but due to his adopter's life changes, he’s looking for a second chance at forever. He loves sunbathing, tagging along to camp, and soaking up the energy of people around him. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, and loving companion, Ambrose could be the perfect fit.
