My story

Microchipped, DOB April 3, 2021 FIV/FeLV Negative Vegas needs time to adjust to a new environment, often spending the first two weeks hiding or hissing out of habit. While he may come off as grumpy or irritable at first, this is his way of protecting himself in an unfamiliar world. Given time, he becomes noticeably gentler and more trusting. He might approach you for pets, only to change his mind and swat you at the last second. Sudden movements or loud noises startle him — he often assumes the worst due to his heightened sensitivity. His reactions are more about fear than intent, and he’s not truly aggressive; he just needs a calm, consistent environment. Ideal for a quiet household with minimal foot traffic, Vegas thrives when he has space, routine, and respect for his boundaries. He’s not the typical lap cat, but if you let him come to you on his terms, you’ll earn his rare but genuine affection. For the right person, Vegas is a rewarding, soulful companion with a story worth sharing.
