My story

Meet Princess! This tiny tot transferred to us from the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility. Princess was skinny, delicate, and very tired when she first transferred. She was originally found roaming the streets of the South Bay area, was anemic due to being covered in fleas, had a mouth full of rotten teeth, had patches of missing fur, and was a bag of bones weighing only 3lbs. Since her transfer in late March of 2025, Princess has been in foster care. She is now a healthy 4.6lb pup, has had a full dental and the majority of her teeth removed, has regrown her bald patches, loves to sunbathe and roam, and is thriving in her foster home filled with 5 dogs, another foster dog (Penny), and 4 cats! She has some slight vision and hearing loss, but that doesn't slow her down one bit! After all Princess has been through, her wish is our command! Soft food not gently heated up to her liking? Princess will test it and send it right back until you get it right! Enjoyed a nice cuddle session and now Princess is ready to get down? Princess will strongly kick and squirm out of your hands, so set her down this instant! Princess truly lives up to her name, and we gladly cater to her every whim. She is sweet, strong (her sprint is stiff, but adorably quick!), and is obsessed with her foster mom!
