My story

Meet Lady Pemberton! Lady’s journey began with heartbreak, but don’t worry — her story has a happy ending, thanks to a real-life fairy godmother! She was surrendered to San Francisco Animal Care & Control when her previous owners said they no longer had time for her. But just when things looked bleak, Lady’s luck turned around... One compassionate shelter staff member went above and beyond to advocate for Lady’s rescue — and not only that, she personally volunteered to fly with Lady all the way to San Diego to ensure she made it safely to her second chance! Lady became a Frosted Face on May 8th. She is only 9 years old, weigh 20 lbs., and is very sweet and friendly. Only days after her arrival, Lady was chosen for a two-week Frosted Fling, and we are looking forward to learning what she is like in a home. Check back soon for an update!
