My story

Meet Nasa! Nasa entered San Jacinto Valley Shelter as a stray and sadly, she wasn't claimed. We scooped her up to become a Frosted Face on January 13th. Now, Nasa is a Frosted Face, and she will never be alone and unwanted again! She is estimated to be 10 years old, weighs 12 lbs., and is SO sweet. Nasa is such a cuddle bug and loves nothing more than being on someone's lap. She gets along well with other dogs of all sizes, too! Nasa went on an extended Frosted Fling, so we could learn what she was like in a home environment. Here's the scoop from her Fling Mom: "Nasa is a very sweet girl who has so many lovable tendencies, like curling her paws around your arm when you hold her. Occasionally, she gets a bit stubborn. If Nasa doesn't want to be moved, or you touch her face too long, she will let you know! Here's some things to note about Nasa: * Loves foods and treats * Enjoys sitting on your lap or by you * Sleeps through the night * Walks great on a leash & has good energy * Rides nicely in the car * No separation anxiety. * No potty accidents in the house; went outside every 3-4 hours Nasa is blind in one eye, so sudden movements can startle her, so I take it slow and easy when I'm going to pet her or pick her up. Nasa interacted some with my dogs and didn't mind when she and another would lie next to each other and me on the couch. During her 3-weeks with us, Nasa gravitated towards my mom, often curling up near her or following her from room to room. It made me wonder if Nasa may have once belonged to an older woman. When my grandson spent the night, Nasa was right beside him the entire evening, and slept with him. Nasa is long overdue for a forever home. Might it be with you?"
