My story

Meet Clover! 11-year-old Clover (formerly Rover) spent her entire life in a backyard because she was deemed "too hyper" as a puppy. For most of those years, she had another dog's companionship. In July 2024, Clover's owner passed away; her dog companion died the following month. Clover continued to live in the backyard alone, until a family member of her owner reached out for our help in giving her a better life. Clover became a Frosted Face on May 1st and weighs 60 lbs. Clover is doing well! She enjoys attention from our staff and volunteers, walks around our property, and the medicated, soothing baths that are healing her skin. As you can see in the videos, Clover is making friends in our play yard, and she passed her cat test! Clover loves going on our weekly FFF hikes and can do a full 2.5 mile loop. She is even known to break into a run when she sees the FFF van at the end. Clover is so sweet and fun!
