My story

He's no ordinary Gus. He's no gloomy Gus. Meet Gus the German Shepherd mix - the happiest, friendliest dog in town. With his sweet, mellow temperament, handsome markings and affectionate nature, Gus can be your dream pet. For one thing, Gus is very social. He loves other dogs, may be OK with cats and is gentle enough to hang with people of all ages. But be careful. Gus can hypnotize you with his magnetic aura. You could be compelled to stop often to give him long belly rubs. Yes, Gus really is a fun companion. He seldom barks but loves to "chat" by making cute grunts and gargling noises. He's probably saying, "Treat!" and "Pet me!" How can you resist cracking up? Gus isn't just funny, he's affectionate. He enjoys following his foster around the house, or laying quietly by her side. But if she needs to leave him home alone, Gus is OK with that. Even better, he understands the difference between his toys and her shoes. He can be trusted not to damage anything when left by himself.  Basically, it's hard to find fault with Gus. For one thing, he's making excellent progress with his house training. He does have a hitch in his giddy-up when walking or running, but it doesn't bother him or cause him pain. Altogether this is a young, gentle, friendly, happy camper lacking only a forever home.
