My story

Hi, I’m Silas—a curious little explorer with a big heart and a soft purr that doesn’t quit! I may not be the most energetic guy out there, but I’m always up for an adventure, especially if it involves a new space to explore, a bird to watch, or a mirror to admire myself in (hey, I’m cute and I know it!).I’ve got a thing for textures—towels are my favorite for a good rolly-polly session—and windows are my personal TV. I love observing the world from high places, so when I figured out I could jump onto the sink, it became my new favorite hangout. I’m still mastering my jumps, but I get so excited when I succeed! I’d probably love a cat tree where I could climb and perch to my heart’s content.I’m super affectionate and snuggly. It didn’t take me long to curl up in my foster’s lap and start purring. I love being petted—tail, tummy, head, back—bring it on! I’m a little investigator at heart, always on a mission to find out what that sound was or what’s behind that door. If I ever get startled, I’ll retreat for just a second before heading back to check things out again. I bounce back quick!I haven’t met other animals yet, but I’m very curious about the world and I’m always excited to meet new people. Once I feel safe, I’ll be your loyal shadow—always nearby and always ready for love.I’d be happiest in a home where I can explore freely, receive lots of affection, and have plenty of interesting sights and spaces to keep me entertained.
