My story

If you’re like the majority of Americans (an estimated 66%), you start each day with a hot cuppa coffee. Astoundingly, Americans drink an estimated 400 MILLION cups of coffee each day! Whether you prefer a classic drip, French-pressed, pour-over or instant, we all have the humble coffee bean to thank for our morning pick-me-up. We also happen to have an understated pup named Coffee Bean who can provide a pick-me- up every day! Her volunteer friends love to start their day with Coffee Bean- here`s what one friend had to say:“Coffee Bean is a tender, sweet girl! She was a bit nervous when I first met her at her kennel, but once we got to the play yard she really opened up. She loved to explore by her kennelmate`s side and they had fun running and playing together! She would probably do amazing in a house with a confident furry friend. When her buddy came over to me for pets, she did as well, and we enjoyed a little snuggle time. She’s a doll.” Coffee Bean has shared her kennel politely with other dogs in her time in the shelter and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit.
