A family was evacuating their home and heard them crying, desperate and alone. They looked for mama cat but never found her. The kind people scooped them up and brought them to the Humane Society of Oldham County. These bundles of joy act like they know they were rescued, because from day one they were grateful and happy to be in foster care! ROLO'S PERSONALITY: Whether you’re curled up on the couch, working from home, or just moving about your day, Rolo wants to be part of it all. He’s not just there—he’s genuinely interested in everything you’re doing and makes the sweetest companion. Rolo is the kind of kitten who makes a space feel warmer just by being in it. He loves to chat in soft little meows and will often start a “conversation” just to let you know he’s nearby. His favorite spot? Right next to you. He’ll happily curl up beside you on the couch, stretch out with a tiny sigh, and snooze contentedly as long as you’re near. Rolo adores feather wands, tunnels, and the hammocks in cat trees. But he always circles back to where you are, as if to say, “Just checking in.” He loves children and plays well with young kids. He is gentle and forgiving and loves playtime with them! Rolo has grown up with cats and MUST have a Forever Family with a kitty companion to call his buddy. Out of respect for the Resident Kitty (kitties), we strongly recommend a cat companion that is less than 7-8 years old to best acclimate to the kitten pep. He will be ready late May 2025. He is up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Submit your application today!
