Nola

My story

Nola arrived at Horse Creek Wildlife Sanctuary from the animal shelter on April 3, 2025. She is so sweet and friendly! She enjoys playing and running with other dogs in the exercise area. She loves to receive attention from people and going for long walks. Nola is a full-grown Heeler/Terrier mix and she weighs 32 pounds. She is an outstanding dog with lots of love to give! Do you have room in your home and heart for Nola? All of our dogs are spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations. They receive monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All of their medical needs are taken care of before they are available for adoption. Our adoption fee is $100.00. Please complete an application, if you have found a dog you are interested in adopting. Kim Austin, our adoption facilitator, will be in contact with you as soon as she has an opportunity to review your application. Understand that she has other duties and she will not ignore any interest shown in adopting one of our dogs. An application will need to be approved before a scheduled time to visit our dogs will be set up. It may take up to 48 hours before she returns your call or responds to your email, due to work schedules, holidays and adoption events. We do the very best we can for the dogs we have rescued and do not take the adoption process lightly. Please be patient and understand that we will place our rescued dogs in the very best homes possible and reserve the right to refuse applications.
