My story

Location St Paul, MN It's hard to believe sometimes that this girl had any challenges prior to finding her way into our home. This cutie is crate trained and potty trained. She is loving, sweet, incredibly goofy, and has a gentleness about her that is hard to ignore. She does show some signs of fear in certain situations, most noticeably around men, which she communicates rather subtly. Even still, she rebounds and trusts quickly when approached with a calm, affectionate demeanor... and with treats! Even in situations where she seems nervous or anxious, she has shown no signs of reactivity. She is also an absolute joy to bring on outings so if you are looking for a companion to run errands with, she's your gal! She loves car rides, feeling the wind on her face, and just generally being with you wherever you go :) She loves to get her zoomies out in the yard and will sometimes snort as she runs, which is just one of the many ways she brightens our days! Her favorite things are looking out the front window, zooming through the yard, sniffing around on walks, ripping apart her stuffed toys to get to the squeaker, playing with other doggo friends (she has gotten along amazingly with our 6mo old resident puppy), and of course, freeze-dried liver treats. When she isn't being her fun-loving, goofy self while playing with humans or canines, she's a HUGE fan of cuddling up on the couch or bed. Wherever you prefer is fine with her as long as she gets to snuggle with you! Snow Bear will make a wonderful companion in just about any home and has lived with children, which we can see being a good fit based on her loving nature, but we think she would truly thrive in an adult only home with a submissive, gentle doggy sibling. Again, she loves other dogs, but unfortunately was paired with an assertive pup who preferred to be an only dog in her previous home so we would love for her next sibling (if she has one) to be more gentle and welcoming of her! We just adore this sweet girl and cannot wait for her to find the perfect forever home! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Snow Bear, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
