My story

[Seol is ready for their flight to Toronto upon adoption - currently in Korea] 🩷 Background: Seol was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea last fall as part of our “Save 100 Dogs” project. Since her rescue, she has been living with other dogs at our boarding house. 🩷 Personality and Socialization: Seol is a calm, affectionate, and submissive girl who is friendly with everyone she meets, including men. She’s not shy and loves being around people. With a medium energy level, Seol enjoys the company of smaller, gentle dogs but can be a bit nervous around larger or more dominant dogs. She’s always eager for attention and affection and is happiest when she’s close to her human friends. 🩷 Behaviour: Seol is very well-mannered, often receiving compliments from the vet for her calm demeanor. She enjoys car rides, bath time, and walks. She walks well on a leash, though she may feel a bit anxious in unfamiliar environments. Seol is pee-pad trained and will happily use indoor pads when needed. Indoors, she’s quiet and calm, with no signs of destructive behavior or separation anxiety. 🩷 Health and Diet: Seol is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations. She is on monthly parasite prevention, and all tests for parasites have come back negative. When Seol was rescued, she had anaplasmosis, but she completed her treatment and is now healthy and ready for her forever home. She eats dry kibble twice a day and has no known allergies. 🩷 Ideal Home: Seol is a loving and loyal companion who forms deep bonds with her humans. She would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time—ideally a retired person or someone who works from home. She’s not fond of being left alone and prefers to stay by your side, offering love and companionship. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle soul to brighten your life, Seol would be the perfect addition to your family. If you have any questions or would like to adopt Seol, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
