My story

Note: Currently at foster's in Guelph ON. 🐾 Background: Jenny was born to a brave mother who was rescued from the harsh dog meat trade. While her two brothers are now happily settled in Vancouver and Toronto, and her mother has found a loving home in Korea, it’s now Jenny’s turn. She lived peacefully with other dogs at our boarding house in Korea and is currently thriving in a foster home in Guelph, ON. 🐾 Personality and Socialization: Jenny is a sweet, friendly dog with a medium energy level. She’s smart and easy-going, and enjoys playing with other dogs, especially those of similar size and energy. After some fun, she knows how to relax and is very laid-back. Jenny would be a great fit for a family looking for a second dog. While she can be a little shy around new people at first, once she warms up, she becomes very friendly and affectionate. 🐾 Behaviors: Before arriving at the boarding facility, Jenny and her siblings attended dog training school, where she learned important skills like leash manners and socialization. She’s OK with car rides, baths, and walks, and enjoys spending time outdoors. However, she hasn’t had experience with cats or young children. 🐾 Health and Diet: Jenny is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She also takes monthly preventatives for internal and external parasites. She’s a healthy girl, ready to bring peace and love to her forever home. She enjoys dry kibbles twice a day. Currently, there are no known allergies. 🐾 Ideal Home: The perfect adopter for Jenny would be someone with plenty of time to spend with her—perhaps someone who works from home or is retired. It would be ideal if she had another friendly and playful dog of a similar size, as she loves playing with other dogs and gains confidence from their company. Jenny’s sweet and mild-mannered personality will make her a wonderful companion for anyone lucky enough to welcome her into their home.
