My story

Orrie is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet him during open hours! Scroll through his pictures to see his cute video content! Is Orrie quite possibly the cutest and squishiest puppy to have ever existed? there is only one way to find out-- come smoosh him for yourself! Orrie was brought into Chicago Animal Care and Control as a stray after being found outside. We cannot fathom letting such a glorious puppy go! Orrie did not seem to mind, though! He was happy to give kisses to all the nice people at CACC who helped him. We saw Orrie's pictures and videos and knew we needed to have him! Orrie has been so loving with everyone he has met, and loves dogs too. He has a very nice temperament-- he is not wild...yet, anyways! He is a big gentle boy who is going to be a very big man one day (at almost 40 lbs and not yet 5 months old, you can expect he will be quite large when full grown). An adopter should expect to have to work on basic manners, obedience, and house training, and to expect puppy behaviors such as chewing/mouthing as he is teething. We are so happy to have Orrie with us at Heartland, and hope that you will come meet this sweet boy soon! Orrie’s adoption fee is $400. Orrie is neutered and is up to date on core vaccines. He will need a Heartworm test at the adopter's vet when he is between 6-7 months of age.
