My story

Meet Pickles – a little sour, a little shy, and a whole lot of potential.
 Pickles is a beautiful tabby kitten with the kind of face that could melt your heart... once she lets you see it! She’s still learning to trust people and needs some help with socialization, but we believe with patience, love, and maybe a few treats, this shy girl will come out of her shell. Pickles is also FIV-positive, which might sound scary—but it really isn’t. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives and often do just fine in homes with other friendly, non-aggressive cats. FIV isn’t contagious to humans or other species, and with a little extra care (like regular vet checkups and staying indoors), FIV+ cats like Pickles can thrive. Right now, Pickles is a bit reserved—she’s still learning that humans can be kind and comforting. But with the right adopter—someone patient, gentle, and willing to give her time—she has every chance to blossom into a loving companion.
