My story

Meet Winter! This sweet and snuggly girl has blossomed into a playful, loving companion who adores her foster mom and enjoys running around the yard with her foster siblings. When she’s not playing, Winter is happiest curled up close, soaking up all the love she can get. She is both potty and crate trained and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Winter’s story began in the woods of McKinney, where she and her partner, Storm, were bravely keeping their puppies safe just before a winter storm hit. With love and care, she has transformed from a shy, cautious pup into a happy girl with a signature “wiggle butt” that shows up whenever she gets excited. Though she can still be a little reserved at first, Winter’s gentle spirit shines once she feels safe. She treasures her own space but also delights in playing with her foster siblings and being close to her people. She hasn’t yet met cats or kids, but with her kind, patient nature, she’s sure to adapt beautifully. Born in January 2022, Winter is being fostered in Texas and is ready to find her forever family. OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS, COLORADO, OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
