Zara is a stunning black beauty with the softest coat and the sweetest soul. A quiet and gentle girl, Zara is looking for a peaceful home where she can feel safe, understood, and loved. She may be shy at first—choosing to observe her surroundings from a cozy hiding spot—but with time, kindness, and calm energy, her true personality begins to shine. Beneath that reserved exterior is a curious and affectionate cat who will reward your patience with soft purrs, quiet cuddles, and moments of playful charm. Zara has triumphed through past trauma, including the amputation of her front left leg, and has healed beautifully—proving she's as resilient as she is lovely. She would thrive best as the only cat in the home, where she can bond deeply and bloom at her own pace. All of our cats and kittens go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their core vaccines, as well as flea and tick preventatives. Each adoption also includes a 3.5-pound bag of Iams cat food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
